One place to run a KDP business
TrueRoyalties started with one question nobody could answer quickly — am I actually making money on this book? — and grew into the dashboard where the rest of the questions live too.
Why it kept growing
Amazon gives an author plenty of numbers and no single place to read them. Royalties are in KDP. Ad spend is in Amazon Ads. Pages read are in a third report, ranks are on the product page, reviews are on a fourth screen, and the link you print in your back matter sends every reader to the wrong country's store. Each of those is a tab, a login and a different definition of the same week.
So we kept adding the missing screen, then the next one — Kindle Unlimited, series read-through, Best Sellers Rank, reviews, smart links, a page that proves your figures to someone else (the full list is here). They all read the same imported data, which is the point: you connect once, and every part of the app already knows your catalogue.
The original question is still the one the others answer to. Net profit — after ad spend, after KDP withholding tax, after VAT on advertising, converted at each transaction's own exchange rate — is the number KDP and Amazon Ads each hold half of, and neither one computes.
How we work
Read-only, always. TrueRoyalties never changes your books, your prices, your campaigns or your bids. It reads your own reports and does the arithmetic.
Computed, not claimed. Every figure traces back to a report Amazon gave you. When a number cannot be established honestly — a rate Amazon has not settled yet, a ratio with no denominator — the app says so instead of showing a confident zero.
Yours to leave. Delete your account and every row we hold for it goes with it. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and no contract after it.
