No, and they are usually quite far apart, because KENPC is computed from a standard digital layout rather than from your print interior — trim size, font choice and spacing all change the printed count without changing the normalized one. Do not estimate it from your paperback: the only reliable figure is the KENPC Amazon shows you on the Promote and Advertise page.
Yes — you are paid for the pages actually read, not for the borrow. That cuts both ways: a reader who abandons a 400-page novel at chapter three earns you a few cents, and it is why the number that matters for a Kindle Unlimited title is pages read rather than borrows. For a typical novel it is more than one — but a borrow is also a reader you would probably not have had, and a series read through to the end can be worth several sales.

Amazon announces the fund around the 15th of the following month, so the current month's rate does not exist yet — anything published for it is somebody's estimate. No, and the gap is far bigger than most authors expect: converted into one currency, the same page read is worth several times as much in the best-paying store as in the worst. Each store pays in its own currency at its own rate, which is why the table on this page converts them all before comparing them — at the exchange rate from the last day of each month, so the same month always converts to the same number.
